ArtsUnion

Started in 2005, ArtsUnion is an initiative to enhance the cultural economic development of Union Square. ArtsUnion presents events and markets, cultural and historical tours, commissions street furniture and public art, and revised zoning to incentivize arts redevelopment. ArtsUnion was once funded by the MCC’s John and Abigail Adams Art Program and remains supported by the City of Somerville.

Celebrate the Nepali cultural community in Somerville at this free festival!

In partnership with the Greater Boston Nepali Community (GBNC) we present Nepal Festival 2022. This is event took place in 2012, 2017, 2019 and is back again this year! Join us on Saturday, June 25th at 4 pm (rain date June 26th) in Union Sq Plaza.

This event will showcase Nepali culture, cuisine, music, folk songs, cultural dances, arts & handicrafts to the international community. Have yummy Nepali food, persue the craft vendors tables, and join us for dancing and fun!
